Un regalo por Popo? Translation: "A gift for Popo?" It's a simple question, and one that I've heard many times. If, unanswered, perhaps a sucker punch to the stomach - #1?. But, sucker punch no more, the question is dead, and MBNR says; "RIP Popo."

I now recall my first meeting with Popo, via the entrance of Backyard Bar, Costa Rica, Mid October 1999. I was not prompted with the above question, rather a bold statement: "BEEEEERRRRRR.....BEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRR!". The small Tico man voiced this "liquid" concern with a mix of passion and desperation, and I was glad to help. An Imperial drinker, "at the time", I happily clipped off a sixer single for the local Popo. It was my first gift, and welcoming to the "Champ" philosophy. In exuberant fashion, my Imperial hand-off generated his equally vigor reply "BEEEEERRRRRR.....BEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRR!"

AMEN Popo....MBNR members will always share some of your passion & desperation for "BEEEEERRRRRR.....BEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRR!"!!!!!!

So, some f'n scum decided to break into our house last Thursday, up in the ATL. They took thousands$$, including all my wife's jewelry, flat screen, 2 Nikon cameras, water camera, guns, knives and plenty of other shit. My wife was first home, and seeing the door was wide open, she wisely entered with our neighbor to find the place trashed. Upon calling me of the news, I did confirm she and our yellow lab were fine, but within a few sentences, I asked; "what did they take, are my surfboards there?" And, thank god, all 3 boards are alive and well. Full on alarm system is getting installed next week, and hope that Santa will bring me another Shotgun.

Still working on adding some more functionality. I'm making some small progress toward installing a chat feature so all members can talk back and forth. I just installed a "buddies" feature, which was needed for the "chat mod". I'll keep ya posted.
