Member 20 and WOM were front row for the action. Landing on Oahu, with fingers crossed, hoping to see a few heats. Luck would have it, our final day of vacation landed us in Epic conditions at Pipeline. Kelly, Andy, Joel, Jamie, and many of the big names were in the running on the final day. In the end, Kelly killed them in standard 08 fashion, and made mice of men. Seriously, no need for judges, it was not even close. Better wave selection, better tubes, better surfing. Plenty of photos to come, and should have them posted on the gallery. Unfortunately my camera died when Kelly was being carried off the beach. However, MBNR #1 found a good shot on Surfer Mag's Gallery (Photo 31) that includes us in the action - just left of board (Yellow MBNR Hat). Shaka!
